Job summary

Master Halco, Inc. is hiring a Yard Associate at our Utah branch to support loading, staging, and inventory in the yard and warehouse. The role emphasizes safe forklift operation, accurate order pulling, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

You will rotate stock, load trucks, and assist with receiving and documentation. Candidates should have at least 1 year in a warehouse/yard, be able to lift up to 60 lb, and be willing to overtime. Competitive hourly pay and benefits offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in a warehouse/yard position.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs and work overtime as needed.
• Forklift experience (sit-down) highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Works inside the warehouse and outside in the yard.
• Accurately loads trucks for outgoing shipments.
• Inbound material receiving and put away.
• Complete work orders and receiving documents accurately.
• Pulls and prepares orders, packaging for shipment.
• Rotates yard stock and safely moves materials using a forklift.
• Maintains clean and safe working environment.
• Works with team to ensure branch success and provide customer service.

This position performs an array of functions including:

• Review order documents to prepare for accurate product pulling for customers
• Daily expectations: 70% Drive forklift loading/unloading trailers. 30% Manually sorting and staging material in the yard.
• Safely use a forklift
• Maintain yard stock in a clean and organized manner
