Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals in Kailua, Hawaii seeks a Porter/Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on site and ensure it meets specifications. You’ll maintain the maintenance schedule and inspect gear before and after rental.

The role requires basic math, effective communication with customers, and a safety-focused mindset. Training is provided, with potential for career growth and bilingual assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
• General mechanical aptitude; safety-focused mindset.
• Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged items.
