Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker to join our team in California. The Yard Associate is responsible for stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and inspecting equipment before and after rental to document any issues.

You will work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment with opportunities to advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on site.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule.
• Service equipment to meet specifications.
• Inspect equipment before and after rental.
• Communicate with customers effectively.
