Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Porter/Yard Worker in Glendale, CA. The Yard Associate stations and retrieves equipment, maintains a maintenance log, and may service equipment to ensure it meets specifications. You will inspect gear before and after rental and help keep the yard organized and safe.

The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, good communication, basic math, and a safety-focused mindset. Prior tool experience is a plus; bilingual abilities may be needed by location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on location.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service gear as needed.
• Inspect equipment before/after rental to document condition.
