Southeastern Equipment is seeking a Yard Associate in Novi, MI to assist in keeping the equipment yard orderly and ready for customers. Your duties include managing yard operations, cleaning and inspecting machines, and supporting service and parts teams in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and at least 6 months of heavy equipment operation experience. Electrical, EPA, and OSHA safety standards awareness is required, with occasional training

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of heavy equipment operation experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Experience with power or pressure washing equipment preferred.
• Basic understanding of DOT regulations.
• Ability to follow OSHA safety standards and EPA regulations.
• Previous experience in construction, equipment rental, or a similar hands-on environment is a plus.

What You'll Do

As a Yard Associate, you'll help keep our daily operations moving by managing equipment, maintaining the yard, and supporting our service and parts teams. Your work will help ensure our customers receive equipment that's ready to get the job done.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage equipment coming in and out of the yard, including accurately completing Delivery/Pickup Orders (DPO).

• Inspect, check in, and check out equipment and attachments following company procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized equipment yard.

• Power wash and clean equipment, both inside and out, to ensure it's ready for customers.

Qualifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work around dirt, dust, fumes, and other conditions common in an equipment yard.

• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for operating, cleaning, and inspecting equipment.
