SRS Distribution Inc. in Doraville, GA seeks a Yard Associate to support daily yard and warehouse operations, including receiving, stocking, and organizing materials while upholding safety standards and delivering excellent customer service.

This role requires experience operating a skid steer, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and proficiency in English. You will move goods, verify orders, complete shipping/receiving paperwork, and work with the team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

The Yard Associate for Heritage Family of Companies is responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including material receiving, stocking, and organization, while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service. **Experience operating skid steer.Key ResponsibilitiesMove, stock, and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.Operate skid steers, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.Check and verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.Experience operating skid steer.Physical RequirementsAbility and to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.Able to pass background and drug screening.Minimum QualificationsAbility to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate effectively in English to perform the essential job functions.
