Job summary

Heritage Family of Companies seeks a Full-time Yard Associate in Noblesville, IN to support daily yard and warehouse operations, receiving, stocking, and organization while upholding safety standards and delivering excellent customer service.

Key tasks include moving and organizing inventory, loading/unloading materials, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace. Strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds throughout the day.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Prior hands-on yard/warehouse experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background and drug screening are required.

Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in yard/warehouse for accurate inventory.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks following safety rules.
• Keep yard/warehouse clean and hazard-free.
• Follow PPE guidelines and proper lifting techniques.
• Check orders and complete shipping/receiving paperwork.

Job description

Heritage Family of Companies is seeking a Full-time Yard Associate who will be responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations, including material receiving, stocking, and organization, while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Move, stock, and organize products in yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
• Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment while following all safety rules.
• Keep the yard and warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
• Must follow all safety guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.
• Check and verify orders, complete shipping and receiving paperwork, and work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
• Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability and to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds continuously throughout the workday.
• Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards, using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, and involves active physical work.
• Work performed in an outdoor setting/warehouse environment in conditions like noise, hot or cold temperatures

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
• Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
• Prior experience in hands-on, outdoor/indoor yard/warehouse, operational work or similar environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent of education and experience
• Must pass background screening and drug screening.
