Job summary

ATC Transportation LLC is seeking a full-time yard/dock assistant to park incoming trucks and pull them for drivers, while assisting with yard needs and load adjustments. You will maintain a clean, orderly yard and report any vehicle damage or safety concerns.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, the ability to work outside in all weather, and basic computer/hand scanner skills, with strong oral and written communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Basic knowledge/ability to use computers/hand scanners.

Responsibilities

• Park incoming trucks and pull trucks for drivers.
• Assist on yard needs and other responsibilities as assigned.

Essential Functions

Physical Abilities and Work Environment

• Must have the ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to work in a fast pace work environment.
• Physical agility to include, but may not be limited to, walking, standing, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, stretching, climbing and balancing.
