Job summary

Avamere Skilled Advisors, LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for Avamere at Englewood Heights in Yakima, WA. This PRN / On Call role offers day, evening, and night shifts with a wage of $19-$21 per hour DOE.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, providing emotional support, housekeeping, and health monitoring to ensure residents' safety and well-being in a memory care/assisted living setting with a focus on warmth and respectful care.

Qualifications

• Prefer experience in Memory Care Unit or Assisted Living Facility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid Certification during employment.
• Ability to obtain a Food Handler’s Card.
• Experience in electronic medical records documentation.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Friendly, attentive, and professional demeanor with residents and guests.
• Genuine desire to improve the quality of life for seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): personal hygiene, mobility, and meal preparation.
• Emotional support and companionship to residents to combat loneliness.
• Housekeeping including laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe environment.
• Health monitoring and medical advocacy, reporting concerns to professionals.
• Answer resident calls for assistance; maintain confidentiality and safety.
