Job summary

Hill Robinson USA is seeking a skilled Yacht Manager to oversee operations for the fleet, ensuring safe and efficient performance across all vessels.

You will coordinate budgets, safety compliance, crew management, and shore-side support, reporting regularly to owners and collaborating with the Client Service team to optimise costs and efficiency. The role requires strong communication with captains, file audits, and timely incident reporting; travel to meet owners and yards may be needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry-specific experience required.
• ISM knowledge and maritime training an advantage.
• Strong organizational and reporting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for captains and crew; communicate effectively.
• Monitor budgets, approve invoices, and advise on funding requests.
• Coordinate insurance, VSAT, vendor contracts and T&Cs.
• Produce monthly and yearly owner reports.
• Facilitate communication between yacht and Hill Robinson teams.
• Oversee operations of assigned yachts with Client Service.
• Prepare reports with economic analyses and cost-saving ideas.
• Communicate itineraries and significant issues to the team.
• Ensure compliance and reporting formats are followed.
