A leading yacht management company in Fort Lauderdale is seeking a Yacht Compliance Manager to ensure compliance with ISM regulations and provide technical shipyard support. Candidates should have a background in yacht management or as yacht crew, preferably with certifications such as ISM Auditor/DPA and SSO/CSO. Qualifications

• Background in yacht management or yacht crew.
• Experience as Captain, Chief Officer, or Chief Engineer on charter yachts >500GT.
• Experience with ISM compliance and technical shipyard support.

Job description

We are looking for a Yacht Compliance Manager to join our Yacht Management team based in Fort Lauderdale.

The Yacht Compliance Manager ideally has a background in yacht management or as yacht crew. If they have a crew background, it should be either as Captain, Chief Officer or Chief Engineer, ideally on charter yachts >500GT, and they are looking for a shore-based opportunity.

The responsibilities for this position are centered around yacht compliance with ISM and associated regulations, and technical shipyard support. We are a dynamic, tech-forward team, all ex-yacht crew.

The candidate should have excellent IT competence and be comfortable using a variety of software platforms. Software is the cornerstone to our culture and we are continually looking for new options to drive our suite of software forward.

Ideally the candidate will have the ISM Auditor/DPA and SSO/CSO certifications.

This is a hybrid office/remote work model.
