Sourcebooks is seeking a Marketing and Publicity Associate to lead digital content and influencer outreach for our YA titles across imprints. You’ll work with sales, digital, retail, and editorial teams to turn must-read books into bestsellers.

Join a team that partners with authors and fans, manages press materials, and coordinates campaigns and events. Hybrid or remote options are available in multiple states.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of experience in book publishing, digital marketing, publicity, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills and confidence in creating engaging social content.
• Adept at designing online graphics using Canva and Photoshop.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Interest in teen books and collaborating on multi-faceted campaigns.
• Comfort presenting ideas to internal and external partners.
• Love for books and their power to reach readers.

Responsabilités

• Create digital content for Sourcebooks frontlist and backlist YA titles.
• Support planning and execute social media marketing initiatives.
• Own and grow influencer program for mailings, events, and partnerships.
• Coordinate newsletter features.
• Represent marketing efforts to authors and help build their social media presence.
• Develop press materials and pitch for seasonal opportunities.
• Attend select reader conventions throughout the year.
• Collaborate with marketing and publicity teams on creative campaigns.
