Job summary

Sourcebooks, a publisher of award-winning children’s and YA titles, is looking for a Marketing and Publicity Associate to join our dynamic team. You’ll handle campaigns, digital content, and influencer outreach across imprints to help titles reach readers.

You’ll collaborate with sales, digital, retail, and editorial teams, build author relationships, and promote events and media placements. Hybrid/remote options available in the US.

Qualifications

• ~2-3+ years of experience in book publishing, digital marketing, publicity, or a related field.
• Strong writing skills and confidence in creating engaging social content.
• Adept at designing online graphics using Canva and Photoshop.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with attention to detail.
• Keen understanding of the importance of teen books.

Responsibilities

• Create digital content for Sourcebooks frontlist and backlist YA titles.
• Support planning and execute social media marketing initiatives.
• Own and grow influencer program for mailings, events, and partnerships.
• Represent marketing efforts to authors, help develop their social media presence.
• Develop press materials and pitch for seasonal opportunities.
• Collaborate with marketing and publicity teams on creative campaigns.
