Job summary

Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team. You will operate X-ray equipment and perform radiographs across orthopedic, pediatric, operating room, and outpatient settings, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Qualified candidates are graduates of accredited radiologic programs, with ARRT registration and current CPR. Prior management experience is preferred, and you will collaborate with radiologists and lead x-ray techs to uphold Joint Commission

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • Minimum 2 years of management experience preferred.
  • AART registered and CPR current.

Responsibilities

  • Operate x-ray equipment to take radiographs as prescribed by physicians and adjust exposure per safety procedures.
  • Position patients and prepare/maintain supplies and equipment for imaging.
  • Record and label films with identifying information; report changes in patient condition to staff.
  • Consult with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure quality and standards.

Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I **** is seeking a Radiology Technologist to join our team!!

Radiology Technologist at Baylor Surgicare Fort Worth I:
  • Performs the described duties in the primary work area and demonstrate competency in the following: orthopedic radiology, pediatric radiology, operating room Radiology, outpatient Radiology, Operate the C-arm, Operate Mini C-arm.
  • Performs a variety of technical tasks involved in operating x ray equipment to make radiographs of designated portions of the body as specified by physician; adjust equipment for proper exposure, voltage and current in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures.
  • Determines, prepares and sets up medical supplies, instruments and equipment; positions patients for each anatomical view specified using immobilization and protective devices as required; reports any changes in patient condition to attending medical staff.
  • Records amount and type of film exposed; label film with identifying information; sort as required.
  • Consults with lead x-ray tech and radiologist to ensure compliance with established standards of quality.
  • Processes film in accordance with standardized procedures and maintain assigned work area in clean and orderly condition.

Required Skills
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
  • Minimum 2 years of previous management experience preferred.
  • AART Registered and CPR Current.
Required Experience
  • Knowledgeable of local, state, federal and Joint Commission Regulations.
  • Must possess independent decision-making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
