Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth is seeking a Full Time CT Technologist in Fort Worth, TX. A sign-on bonus of $8,000 is available and the role involves operating CT and X-ray systems, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

The facility offers a comprehensive imaging and surgical environment with modern technology and dedicated radiology leadership. Candidates must meet ARRT/ MRT licensing and BLS requirements to join this team.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current ARRT R.T.(R)(CT) certificate
  • Current MRT General License
  • Current BLS certification

Responsibilities

  • Operates CT and X-ray equipment and prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
  • Provides excellent patient care in assigned area.
  • Performs proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.
  • Performs all QC checks as prescribed and maintains QC logs/service records
  • Documents imaging results and deviations; ensures highest quality imaging per examination
  • Follows aseptic procedures in medical/surgical settings
  • Investigates unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
  • Takes emergency call as assigned

CT Technologist at Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Fort Worth:

Performs quality diagnostic procedures accurately and in a timely manner for Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital at Fort Worth Outpatient Center. Operates CT and x-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications. Provides excellent patient care. Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams performed.

  • The Radiologic technologist operates CT and X-ray equipment, prepares exam room, equipment, supplies and medications.
  • Provides excellent patient care in their assigned area.
  • Practices proper radiation safety techniques on all exams preformed.
  • Performs all Quality control checks, as prescribed.
  • Maintains accurate QC logs, service records, etc.
  • Performs highest quality imaging consistent with prescribed examination: documents and deviation
  • Practices medical and surgical aseptic procedures
  • Investigates promptly and follows up on unusual incidents and communicates with Radiology Leadership
  • Takes emergency call as assigned
Qualifications
Education:
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
Licensure/Certification:
  • Current & Active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) Certificate
  • Current & Active Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) General License
  • Current BLS certification
