Overview
Radiologic Technologist in a short-term acute care facility in Indianapolis, IN (400 beds). Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 3x12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). Facility uses Cerner for charting. Parking is free.
Base pay range: $55.00/hr - $61.00/hr
Start Date: October 27th, 2025. Location: Indianapolis, IN. Job Type: 13 weeks – local contract or travel contract. Schedule: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00). Pay range/salary: $2000/wk to $2200/wk.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures across multiple body systems including abdominal/GI, chest, spine, pelvis, extremities, head, fluoroscopy, and trauma cases.
- Operate mobile/surgical imaging equipment such as C-Arm and O-ARM, and conduct portable chest and abdomen imaging.
- Follow radiation safety protocols and infection prevention measures.
- Prepare and/or administer contrast media as required.
- Handle a daily caseload of 30–75 patients while collaborating with other technologists.
- Conduct specialized procedures including fluoroscopy studies (e.g., modified barium swallows, urodynamics).
Required Experience & Qualifications
- ARRT (R) certification
- BLS certification
- State Radiologic Technologist License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in radiologic technology
- Ability to manage high patient ratios (day ratio approx. 1:6)
- Experience in fluoro procedures preferred

- Spine: cervical, lumbar, thoracic, sacrum/coccyx
- Pelvis and hip
- Upper extremities: clavicle, elbow, forearm, hand, scapula, shoulder (trauma shoulder or humerus), wrist
- Lower extremities: ankle, femur, foot, knee, tibia-fibula
- Fluoroscopy & enema studies: barium swallow, upper GI series, contrast enema, barium enemas
- Mobile and surgical imaging: C-arm, O-ARM, portable chest and abdomen
