Job summary

Ascension Healthcare is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford Imaging in Murfreesboro, TN. This full-time role operates on a rotating shift schedule from 11:00am to 11:30pm, with a sign-on bonus of up to $12,000.

You will perform radiographic procedures, ensure safety standards, assist with CT and contrast procedures, and manage PACS image integrity in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• ARRT Radiography credentialed before hire.
• ARRT Computed Tomography credentialed before hire.

Responsibilities

• Deliver diagnostic radiographic data by performing radiographic procedures with correct patient positioning and optimized technical parameters.
• Strictly follow radiation safety standards and regulatory protocols to protect patients and staff.
• Assist physicians with specialized procedures and safely administer contrast media according to clinical regulations.
• Maintain image integrity sent to PACS and keep a clean, organized work area for a smooth patient experience.

Education

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver essential diagnostic data by performing a variety of radiographic procedures, ensuring patients are accurately positioned and technical parameters are optimized for each unique case.
• Prioritize clinical safety by strictly implementing radiation protection standards and regulatory protocols to safeguard patients, staff, and the community.
• Support advanced medical interventions by assisting physicians with specialized procedures and safely administering contrast media according to established clinical regulations.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
