Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories seeks an Experienced R&D S&E Computer Engineer to join the Extended Reality Visualization (XREV) team onsite. You will design interactive visualizations, collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers, and advance AI-enabled visualization capabilities using Unity and related tools.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree with five years of directly relevant experience and the ability to obtain a DOE Q-level security clearance.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and five (5) years of directly relevant experience.
• Ability to acquire and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and innovative modules to expand the XREV capabilities.
• Utilize Unity Game Engine and associated software as the software foundation underlying the visualizations and models.
• Evaluate incorporation of the latest AI capabilities into the Unity platform.
• Engage with customers to design new visualizations and define UI/UX.
• Develop a standard/generic component/system with respect to CAD models and data to support XREV.
