USAISR at Joint Base San Antonio is offering a 12-month internship for post-bachelor or post-master candidates in XR development and software engineering. You will work with a team of scientists to create immersive clinical guidance systems, leveraging extended reality technologies and OpenXR standards.

Under a mentor, you will design and implement XR applications, explore headset and sensor integrations, and disseminate findings through presentations and journals.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Degree received within five years of start date; veterans eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop and maintain XR applications and end user experiences.
• Write clean, efficient code in languages such as C#, C++, Python, Kotlin, Java or Swift.
• Develop APIs to write XR apps and use OpenXR standards.
• Create 3D holographic UI and interaction designs for spatial computing.
• Develop wireframes and design mockups; apply Unity/Unreal for XR environments.
