Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in education or related field (minimum four years experience).
• Experience working with K-12 students and teachers.
• Must possess strong technology skills.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Willingness to work some evenings as needed.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally as needed.
• Preferred: Teacher certification; experience with VR/AR and Unity/Unreal/SketchUp; community outreach.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and updates the XR lab space (8 stations, Varjo VR/AR headsets) and manages software access.
• Troubleshoots minor equipment issues; coordinates with vendors for larger problems.
• Tracks industry developments and recommends new technologies and software purchases.
• Maintains a schedule for XR lab use for faculty, staff and open labs.
• Supervises, trains, and mentors student employees in the XR lab.
• Supports XR lab instruction by assisting users with equipment operation.
• Supports marketing, registration, and instruction for K-12 programs and College Make at the Center.
