Unity is seeking a Software Engineer to join the XR Core team to develop foundational XR support for the Unity Engine. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver cohesive, user-friendly XR experiences for our developers.

You will work in a multidisciplinary environment, learn and grow as a software engineer, and contribute to a future where XR technologies are accessible across devices. This role emphasizes hands-on development, testing, and collaboration.

Qualifications

• XR/AR/VR experience.
• C/C++ development experience.
• C# development experience.
• 3D math proficiency.
• Willingness to use AI software code generation to accelerate work while preserving architecture.

Responsibilities

• Implement new technologies and features into the Unity engine in support of XR.
• Integrate third-party SDKs for next-gen hardware and software platforms in Agile teams.
• Work with new and existing hardware to deliver a consistent dev experience.
• Write automated tests and coordinate QA for quality.
