Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years preparing federal individual income tax returns.
• Minimum 1 season as a tax expert for TaxAct Xpert Help or similar live tax advice role.
• Active unrestricted credentials: EA or CPA.
• Active PTIN required.
• Must possess/state licenses or be able to obtain.
• Strong tech proficiency and experience with online tax software.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assist tax experts needing technical or operational support.
• Support TaxAct products via phone and chat to deliver positive customer experiences.
• Respond to TaxAct customer escalations and adhere to Circular 230 and applicable rules.
• Identify opportunities for process or training improvements.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on tax expert performance.
• Contribute to knowledge base updates and training materials.
• Lead by example with professionalism and clear communication.
