Job summary

Taxwell is seeking a remote, seasonal TaxAct Xpert to help customers file taxes accurately by providing expert guidance and tax calculations review. You will assist through online software, phone and written support, ensuring a positive experience for our taxpayers.

The role requires strong federal tax knowledge, at least 3 years of returns prep, and active EA or CPA credentials, with PTIN and the ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of federal individual income tax return preparation experience.
• Active credential: EA or CPA; PTIN required.
• Experience supporting customers in a call center environment is a plus.
• Proficiency with online tax software and tax research.

Responsibilities

• Assist TaxAct customers with filing federal and state returns via online software.
• Provide expert tax guidance and resolve customer questions.
• Document interactions and escalate complex cases as needed.
