Job summary

Workiva Inc. is seeking an SEC Reporting Consultant who applies accounting acumen to customer projects, coordinating XBRL data modeling, tagging, and review for quality and satisfaction. Training in XBRL principles will be provided to enable effective use of the Workiva platform for client filings.

You will collaborate with internal teams to advance training, stay current on accounting standards, and ensure accurate and transparent reporting across statements, schedules, and notes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; CPA or CIA preferred.
• 2+ years of experience; CPA firm or financial reporting environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Model XBRL Mapping using Taxonomy concepts and members.
• Interpret taxonomy guidance to ensure correct tag choices.
• Tag values in Financial Statements, Notes, and Schedules.
• Determine whether values are point-in-time or over time and debits/credits.
• Understand stock-based compensation, valuation, taxes, leases, and other accounting areas.
