Kforce Inc. supports a leading global banking institution in seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Manager in New York, NY.

The role oversees SEC reporting, XBRL tagging, and coordination with investor relations, audit, and finance teams, with a flexible remote arrangement. The ideal candidate holds a CPA with at least 8 years in public accounting or SEC reporting, deep GAAP knowledge, and experience with Workiva.

Qualifications

• CPA and minimum 8 years of public accounting, and/or public company SEC reporting experience.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP, SEC regulations, and XBRL.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; Including research skills regarding current and prospective updates to reporting.
• Banking industry experience preferred.
• Workiva system experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Manage SEC reporting staff to ensure adherence to reporting requirements and timelines; provide direct support to staff.
• Prepare and review all public filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K and other SEC filings), manage the SEC process and implement changes in regulations.
• Review detailed XBRL tagging of financial statements and footnotes.
• Coordinate with investor relations on quarterly earnings material preparation.
• Monitor and interpret new SEC/GAAP pronouncements; prepare position papers and implement accounting treatments.
• Communicate with external and internal auditors regarding financial reporting matters.
• Review schedules for internal users and external auditors and assist in auditing financial statements and footnotes.
• Review schedules for internal reporting requirements including the monthly Board package.
