Job summary

The Urgent Care, LLC is hiring an X-Ray Technologist in Gretna, LA. Flexible full-time or part-time schedule, with no overnight shifts and a supportive clinical team.

You’ll perform diagnostic x-rays, verify orders, and document results in the EMR, while collaborating with providers in a fast-paced, small clinic environment. Requirements include ARRT certification, a Louisiana x-ray license, and EMR experience.

Qualifications

• Louisiana x-ray license, unrestricted.
• ARRT certification.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• EMR experience.
• BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic x-rays per provider orders and obtain high-quality images.
• Verify patients and orders, explain procedures, and keep patients comfortable.
• Document exams in the EMR.
• Room and triage patients, take vitals, assist with labs and injections.
• Keep exam rooms, the lab, and x-ray suite clean and stocked.
• Answer patient calls and help schedule check-in times.
