Job summary

The Urgent Care, LLC is seeking a dedicated X-Ray Technologist in Louisiana to join our fast-paced clinics. You will perform radiographic imaging, verify orders, and interact with patients to ensure a smooth, positive visit.

You will maintain patient safety, document findings, and collaborate with providers to deliver quality care. ARRT certification and Louisiana licensure are required, with training available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Active LA state licensure to perform x-rays.
• ARRT registration required or in process.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic equipment to obtain high-quality images.
• Verify patient identity and provider orders in EMR.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for correct imaging.
• Limit radiation exposure with shielding and optimal technique.
• Notify management of equipment issues.
• Document procedures and outcomes in EMR.
• Assist with triage and patient flow in the clinic.
• Support patient and provider throughout visits.
• Clean, disinfect, and reset rooms between patients.
• Stock supplies and maintain a safe work environment.
