Job summary

Bright Light Medical Imaging is seeking a PRN X‑Ray Technologist for Saturdays in Bedford Park, IL. On‑site role requiring general radiography skills, with preferred IV placement and contrast administration training.

Ideal candidates are ARRT Registered (Radiography), Illinois Radiologic Technologist license holders, graduates of accredited radiologic programs, and CPR‑BLS certified, with strong patient care and teamwork abilities for a fast‑paced clinical setting.

Qualifications

• ARRT registered in Radiography is required.
• Illinois state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required.
• Graduate from an accredited radiologic technology program.
• CPR-BLS Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic exams per physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
• Maintain imaging quality and follow departmental protocols.
• Assist with patient positioning and equipment setup.
• IV placement and contrast administration preferred (for CT/advanced imaging support).
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and records.
• Adhere to HIPAA and infection control standards.
