Job summary

OrthoAtlanta is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to provide precise musculoskeletal imaging and patient-centered care in a fast-paced orthopedic clinic.

You will operate X-ray equipment, ensure proper positioning, follow safety protocols, document results, and collaborate with clinicians to support accurate diagnoses and quality patient care. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (preferred) or eligible to obtain.
• 1+ year of experience as an X-ray Technician (preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and ensure patients are positioned correctly for musculoskeletal imaging
• Operate X-ray equipment safely and efficiently to produce diagnostic digital images of bones, joints, and soft tissues
• Apply proper immobilization techniques and follow established safety protocols at all times
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and adhere to quality control standards
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations
• Record procedures and imaging results accurately and efficiently within the electronic medical record system
