Responsibilities

• Perform and analyze patient x-rays and report results to the physician team.
• Coordinate outpatient appointments and educate patients.
• Document patient information and vitals in EMR.

Skills

Knowledge of x-ray equipment

Ability to produce a computer-generated or film image for interpretation

Calculate and record radiation dosage

Perform quality control checks

Maintain and calibrate radioisotope equipment

Safety procedures for radioactive materials

Explain test procedures to patients
