Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited ARRT Program.
• Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Follows radiation safety practices and uses proper shielding and dosimeter monitoring.
• Positions patients and selects technical factors to obtain quality imaging.
• Operates CR/DR radiography equipment and uses PACS for image management.
• Reviews orders and documents exams in EMR and PACS for dictation.
• Provides patient imaging on CD when requested and imports CDs into PACS as needed.
• Acts as liaison between ordering providers and radiologists and assists with questions.
