Job summary

Midwest Physicians Administrative Services, LLC dba Duly Health and Care seeks a part-time Radiologic Technologist in Naperville, IL. You will operate X-ray equipment, position patients, and ensure a smooth, safe imaging workflow under a Radiologist's direction.

The role requires an associate degree or equivalent, CPR, and ARRT registration or eligibility, with evening/holiday coverage and a commitment to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Education: AA degree or equivalent; ARRT registered or eligible; Illinois license as applicable.
• CPR certification required or eligible.
• 2 years of related radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs as directed by Radiologist.
• Positions patient and adjusts immobilization to obtain optimal views.
• Explains procedures to reduce patient anxiety and ensure cooperation.
• Sets exposure factors and maintains radiation safety protocols.
• Maintains crash cart and inventory; adheres to OSHA regulations.
• Works evenings and holidays; supports department workflow.

Position Highlights

PT: 24 hours per week/3 days per week Hours: Varied; M-F 7:00am-9:00pm Weekends and travel as needed

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Radiologist, by performing the following duties.
• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
• Obtain patient’s pertinent history.
• Maintains crash cart.
• Maintain and stock inventory.
• Maintain OSHA regulations.
• Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.
• Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.
• Report to lead technologist for work assignments.
• Will assist with film quality control.
• Required to work evening and holidays with responsibility for the operation of the department.
• Assists and relieve manager expediting the patient work flow through the department.

Qualifications

• Education Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience Must be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.
• CPR certification
• Years of Experience 6 months 2 years related experience

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $29.00 - $43.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
