Job summary

Duly Health and Care in Westmont, IL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our physician-led team. This full-time role requires operating radiologic equipment, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining safety protocols.

The position offers a sign-on bonus of $2,500, weekend rotation, comprehensive benefits, and tuition reimbursement. Evening and holiday shifts are included to support patient care in a collaborative, community-focused environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be ARRT registered or eligible; also IDNS licensed
  • CPR certification
  • Years of Experience: 6 months to 2 years related experience

Responsibilities

  • Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) for diagnostic purposes as directed by Radiologist
  • Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view
  • Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
  • Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and sets exposure factors
  • Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff
  • Obtains patient’s pertinent history
  • Maintains crash cart
  • Maintains and stocks inventory
  • Maintains OSHA regulations
  • Performs other projects and duties related to department objectives
  • Must be able to get along with others and be a team player
  • Reports to lead technologist for work assignments
  • Assists with film quality control
  • Required to work evenings and holidays
  • Assists and relieves manager in expediting patient workflow

Position Highlights:

Full-Time: 40 Hours/Week Hours: Varied; Monday-Friday shifts vary from 7:00am-8:00pm. Rotating weekend coverage every 5th weekend Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm. Holidays and travel as needed.

  • Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.
  • Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
  • Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
  • Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
  • Obtain patient’s pertinent history.
  • Maintains crash cart.
  • Maintain and stock inventory.
  • Maintain OSHA regulations.
  • Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.
  • Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.
  • Report to lead technologist for work assignments.
  • Will assist with film quality control.
  • Required to work evening and holidays with responsibility for the operation of the department.
  • Assists and relieve manager expediting the patient work flow through the department.
Qualifications:
  • Education Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.
  • CPR certification
  • Years of Experience 6 months 2 years related experience

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $29.00 - $43.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
