Job summary

Midwest Physicians Administrative Services, LLC dba Duly Health and Care is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to operate radiologic equipment and obtain quality images under Radiologist direction. The role requires patient positioning, explanation of procedures, and strict radiation safety adherence at multiple Naperville locations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or six months to two years related experience.
• Must be AART registered or eligible; IDNS license.
• CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs for diagnostic purposes as directed by Radiologist.
• Positions patient and adjusts immobilization to obtain optimal view as requested by physician.
• Explains procedures to reduce patient anxiety and obtain cooperation.
• Moves x-ray equipment and sets exposure factors (time/distance).
• Practices radiation protection to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Obtains patient history and maintains crash cart and inventory.
• Maintains OSHA regulations and department workflow; supports team with file quality and workload management.

Full: 40 Hours/Week Hours: Varied; Monday-Friday shifts vary from 7:00am-8:00pm. Every 5th Weekend, Saturday and Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm. Holidays and travel as needed. Location: Naperville, multiple locations

Responsibilities

• Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) of body for diagnostic purposes, as directed by Radiologist, by performing the following duties.
• Positions patient on examining table and adjusts immobilization devices to obtain optimum view of specific areas of body requested by physician.
• Explains procedures to patient to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
• Moves x-ray equipment into specified positions and adjusts equipment controls to set exposure factors such as time and distance.
• Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
• Obtain patient’s pertinent history.
• Maintains crash cart.
• Maintain and stock inventory.
• Maintain OSHA regulations.
• Performs other projects and duties as related to department objective.
• Must be able to get along with others, to be a team player, to accept constructive criticism from your supervisor and be able to follow work rules.
• Report to lead technologist for work assignments.
• Will assist with film quality control.
• Required to work evening and holidays with responsibility for the operation of the department.
• Assists and relieve manager expediting the patient work flow through the department.

Qualifications

• Education Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six month to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be AART registered or eligible also IDNS licensed.
• CPR certification.
• Years of Experience 6 months 2 years related experience.

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $29.00 - $43.00, with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
