Under the direct supervision of the Health Services Administrator (HSA) and/or Radiology Supervisor, the X-Ray Technologist performs full scope diagnostic radiologic procedures within the scope of their license and certification, supporting patient care at CHP's Otay Mesa (George Bailey Detention Facility) location.
Accountable to: Health Services Administrator (HSA) / Radiology Supervisor
Must hold and maintain a current, unrestricted Radiologic Technologist certification/license (CRT) in the state of California, as well as any required CPR certification. Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred; correctional healthcare experience preferred but not required.
Must have the physical and mental capacity to work in an environment that may be less than pristine, and manage and maintain physical and mental health when encountering stressful situations. Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs. of force, push, pull, and move objects, including positioning patients for imaging.

Schedule: Mon/Tue/Wed, 7:00 AM–12:00 PM (weekday days; hours flexible)

Compensation: $38–$50/hour, PRN. No shift differential applicable (weekday daytime hours).
