Job summary

OrthoAtlanta seeks an X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team and support musculoskeletal diagnostics. You will explain procedures, position patients, and capture high-quality digital images while following safety and quality protocols.

Ideal candidates bring a Radiologic Technology program completion and ARRT certification (or eligibility), with 1+ year of experience and strong communication skills. This on-site role offers hands-on imaging exposure within a leading orthopedic practice.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT certification preferred or eligible.
• 1+ year of X-ray technician experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Explain procedures clearly, address concerns, and position patients for musculoskeletal imaging.
• Operate X-ray equipment safely to produce diagnostic images.
• Apply immobilization techniques and follow safety protocols.
• Perform routine checks on X-ray equipment and quality controls.
• Monitor and restock X-ray supplies for clinic operations.
• Record procedures and imaging results in the EMR system.
• Work independently and as part of a clinical team.
