Job summary

Mount Sinai Morningside seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform routine radiological procedures and to position and prepare patients for imaging according to protocol. You will ensure proper labeling of images, apply radiation safety practices, and assist physicians as needed.

The role requires NY licensed technologist status, a radiology program background, and experience with IDX RIS and PACS systems. Strong patient communication and infection control are essential.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• New York State Department of Health Licensed Radiologic Technologist or a current temporary permit pending examination.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine radiological procedures with appropriate technical judgment.
• Assists and positions patients for radiological procedures as required.
• Provides patient education related to imaging procedures and instructions.
