Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Per Diem X-Ray Tech in New Jersey to operate CR/Digital X-ray systems and perform Bone Density exams in satellite offices. You will prep patients, verify demographics, and document all necessary data in PACS, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety.

The role requires NJ radiology licensure, ARRT certification, and BLS; 0-1 year experience is preferred, with 2-4 years advantageous. Per diem shifts and weekend coverage may apply.

Responsibilities

• Maintains infection control and cleanliness of the x-ray room; follows safety procedures.
• Performs routine QA/QC testing and reports equipment issues per state guidelines.
• Collaborates with Radiologist and other departments to deliver quality care.

Assesses patients for potential risk factors.Ensures proper identification of patient and demographics in PACS.Clarifies / follows Doctor’s orders and scans needed information in PACS.Completes procedures within an acceptable time frame.Produces quality diagnostic images for interpretation, such as positioning and technique.Maintains x-ray room cleanliness after exam and procedure.
