Shepherd Center is seeking an X-Ray Technologist to deliver quality imaging services to patients across age groups. The role involves patient preparation, proper positioning, safety checks, and coordination with radiologists to ensure accurate exam results.

Ideal candidates hold an ARRT registration, an associated radiologic science degree, and a customer-focused approach. The position requires on-site work with potential on-call responsibilities and adherence to departmental standards.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic science or hospital-based radiology education program.
• Current ARRT registration or equivalent.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Schedules patients and prioritizes exams based on clinical need.
• Reviews and verifies orders before beginning exams; reviews EMR for safety concerns.
• Prepares patient and room for exams, transfers and positions patient as needed.
• Performs exams and delivers images to PACS and Radiologist; ensures exam dictation receipt.
• Attends department staff meetings and assists with inventory and operations.
