Job summary

Shepherd Center seeks an X-Ray Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services for geriatrics, adults, and adolescents. The role supports the imaging department, delivering accurate images and data to physicians for optimal patient care.

This full-time, on-site position requires an Associate degree in radiologic science, ARRT registry, and strong safety and communication skills. On-call rotation is required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in radiologic science or hospital-based radiology program.
• ARRT registry (required) with current registration.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule patients and prioritize exams based on clinical need.
• Review orders and EMR for safety and accuracy.
• Prepare patients and rooms, transfer and position patients.
• Perform exams and ensure image delivery to PACS and radiologist.
• Maintain daily operations and inventory as needed.
• Attend staff meetings and uphold safety and center requirements.
