Novant Health Urgent Care in Columbia, SC seeks a Radiologic Technologist to operate x-ray equipment and produce radiographs to aid diagnosis. You will triage and room patients, take vitals, review history, and summarize reasons for visits, while maintaining safety and infection control.

The ideal candidate holds a 1-year Radiographic Technology degree with SC licensure, OSHA/HIPAA training, and availability for 12-hour shifts and weekends. Willingness to cover other centers is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-year degree in Radiographic technology.
• Current SC license for radiographic technology (Limited Practice Radiographer-General Certification accepted).
• OSHA/HIPAA compliance training.
• Willingness to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
• Willing to work at other centers as needed.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for operating x-ray equipment and producing images.
• Triages and rooms patients, taking vitals and reviewing history.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
• Keeps patient records and documentation up to date.
• Collaborates with providers to support accurate diagnosis.
