Novant Health Urgent Care (Formerly Doctors Care) is seeking a Full-Time X-Ray Technologist to join their team in Florence, South Carolina. The role involves operating x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic images, maintaining patient records, and providing positive customer service in a clinical environment.

The ideal candidate should possess a one-year degree in Radiographic Technology and a current South Carolina license. Qualifications

• Must be licensed in South Carolina for radiographic technology.
• Require good communication skills.
• Must be willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate X-ray equipment for diagnostic imaging.
• Pre-screen patients and summarize their visit.
• Maintain cleanliness and positive customer service.
• Prepare patients for radiological procedures.
• Develop and distribute images to medical staff.
• Perform quality control checks on x-ray equipment.

Education

One-year degree in Radiographic Technology

Current South Carolina license for radiographic technology

Limited Practice Radiographer-General Certification

Healthcare Provider CPR certification

Full practice radiographer certification (preferred)
