Envision Imaging of Flower Mound is seeking a Full-time X-ray technologist to join our team in Flower Mound, TX. The position runs Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with a pay range of $27.29 to $35.18 per hour.

You will perform diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjust equipment settings, position patients, and assist physicians with contrast media and tomography, while maintaining patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Two+ years’ experience in X-ray (preferred).
• Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed.
• Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player.
• Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment.
• Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation.

Responsabilités

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure to obtain the best possible image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent; screens patients for implants, allergies, etc.
• Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans for radiologist interpretation.
• Performs exams while ensuring patient care before, during and after exam; notifies supervisor of changes.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed and coordinates scan protocols with radiologist.
