Job summary

Envision Radiology is seeking a Full-Time X-ray technologist in Texas. The position runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with a pay range of $27.29–$35.18 per hour.

The role involves performing diagnostic X-Ray procedures, adjusting equipment, positioning patients and assisting physicians with contrast media and tomographic exams. A patient-focused, accurate, and safety-conscious technician is required.

Qualifications

• Two plus years’ experience in X-Ray
• Current ARRT certification and Radiography registry (R)
• Active state license (if applicable) and CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and explains the procedure to obtain best image.
• Reviews patient charts for missed information and consent.
• Obtains prior films and performs high quality scans for Radiologist interpretation.
• Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist.
• Maintains and inspects equipment and reports quality concerns or deficiencies.
• Transfers images to other locations as needed.
• Adheres to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
