Job summary

Sun Recruiting, Inc. is seeking a skilled Medical Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) for a full-time, direct-hire role in Syracuse, NY. The role focuses on producing high-quality diagnostic images while delivering compassionate patient care in an outpatient Radiology setting.

Compensation ranges from $29.80 to $43.93 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Eligible candidates will hold an Associate degree in Medical Radiography, NYS licensure/eligibility, ARRT certification,

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Radiography or equivalent.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography procedures, including patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Prepare patients and accurately interpret physician orders for imaging exams.
• Operate radiographic equipment and adjust technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety through proper shielding and radiation protection practices.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow.

Education

Associate degree in Medical Radiography

NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility

ARRT certification

Current BLS certification
