Job summary

Professional Recruiting Consultants, Inc. in Syracuse, NY is seeking a qualified Medical Radiology Technologist (X-Ray Technologist) to join an outpatient Radiology team. This full-time, direct hire role focuses on patient care and high-quality imaging.

Compensation ranges from $29.80 to $43.93 per hour, based on experience and qualifications; licensure and ARRT certification are required. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Must have NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography procedures, including patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Prepare patients and accurately interpret physician orders for imaging exams.
• Operate radiographic equipment and adjust technical factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety through proper shielding and radiation protection practices.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow.

Education

Associate degree in Medical Radiography or equivalent
