Qualifications

• Associate degree in Medical Radiography or equivalent.
• NYS Radiologic Technologist license/registration or eligibility.
• ARRT certification required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform general radiography procedures, including patient positioning and image acquisition.
• Prepare patients and interpret orders for imaging exams.
• Operate radiographic equipment and adjust factors to obtain diagnostic-quality images.
• Ensure patient safety through shielding and radiation protection practices.
• Review images for quality and completeness.
• Maintain accurate documentation and support efficient patient flow.
