AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technician to prepare patients for radiologic procedures and operate imaging equipment according to physician orders. Responsibilities include maintaining films, ensuring safety, and coordinating with physicians.

The role requires an Associate degree in radiologic technology, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Basic X-Ray Machine Operator certification. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is available, with a typical full-time day shift.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to float to other FHMG practices when patient load or schedules require it.
• Proficient in communicating in English, both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for radiologic procedures and protect safety of patients, self and staff.
• Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
• Set up and operate radiographic equipment and perform infection control measures.
• Position patients and take x-rays as requested by physician.
• Maintain x-ray film files and ensure reports/films are available for physicians.
