AdventHealth in Kissimmee, FL is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to prepare patients for radiologic procedures, operate x-ray equipment, and ensure high-quality imaging. Qualifications

• Must communicate effectively in English (read, write, speak).
• Willing to float to other FHMG practices when needed.
• Proficient in infection control practices and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for radiologic procedures and protects patients and staff from radiation hazards.
• Operates radiographic equipment and takes x-rays as ordered by physician.
• Adjusts radiographic controls and selects proper ionizing factors.
• Positions patients for x-rays and ensures image clarity; retakes when needed.
• Maintains film files, reports, daily logs, and monthly reports.
• Verifies charges on x-ray-related procedures and ensures compliance with state regulations.
