Job summary

Capitol Imaging Services (Outpatient Imaging) in Statesboro, GA is seeking a full-time X-Ray Technologist to join our imaging team. The role requires preparing and positioning patients, operating X-ray equipment, and ensuring safety and image quality under radiologist supervision.

The ideal candidate will hold ARRT certification, an appropriate radiologic technology degree, and state licensure if applicable, with 1 year of diagnostic radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification.
• State licensure (if applicable).
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in diagnostic radiology preferred (new grads may be considered).
• Knowledge of PACS and RIS systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of safety requirements to provide instructions and to recognize and correct hazardous conditions.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and instruments to administer patient care.
• Maintains communication and cooperation with radiologists and other ancillary departments regarding changes in protocol, scheduling of procedures, exams performed and patient flow.
• Ability to communicate clearly with patients, colleagues and referring offices.
• Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with patients, medical staff, and the public.

Preferred Experience:

• Prefer a minimum of 1 year experience.
• Multi-modality is a plus. Opportunity to learn Mammography.

Required Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Licensed by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• Current ARRT/ Radiologic Technologist License
